Secure, Flexible, and Auditable Multi-Asset Registries for Global Environmental Programs

Product Features

CorTenX is a fully customisable enterprise solution.

Account Management

The CorTenX platform supports flexible configuration of account types and registration pathways, enabling administrators to design workflows suited to their operational and compliance requirements. Each account type can be tailored with specific permissions, approval processes, and access rules to ensure efficient and secure participation across user groups. The system accommodates both primary (master) and subsidiary (sub) account structures, providing a clear hierarchy for governance and control. Custom alerts and automated email notifications can be configured to deliver timely updates on account activity, ensuring users remain informed of relevant actions and status changes. Additionally, CorTenX includes a secure document management environment, allowing organizations to upload, store, and maintain essential records and supporting materials within a protected and auditable framework

Configurable Issuance

The CorTenX platform provides configurable issuance functionality that supports a wide range of asset and unit types across diverse program structures. Issuance workflows can be tailored to reflect specific scheme rules, approval hierarchies, and data validation requirements, ensuring alignment with both operational and regulatory standards. Issuance can be initiated manually by authorized users or automatically triggered based on predefined conditions—such as verified data submissions, external system integrations, or milestone completions—enabling seamless and efficient asset creation. This flexible framework ensures complete traceability and auditability of each issued unit while enhancing operational efficiency through automation, standardization, and full lifecycle visibility.

Transfer & Retirements

The CorTenX platform enables the secure and verifiable transfer and retirement of Product Items within and across Holding Accounts. Transfers can be executed manually by authorized users or automatically triggered through integrated workflows or external systems, such as marketplaces or compliance mechanisms. Each transfer event is immutably recorded, maintaining full traceability and transparency across the asset lifecycle. Retirements are designed as permanent, irreversible actions that deactivate units from circulation to prevent double use or reissuance. Retirement workflows can incorporate program-specific validation rules, approval steps, or automated triggers—such as achievement of emissions reduction milestones or completion of verification processes. Both transfer and retirement operations are supported by cryptographic proof generation, ensuring that every action is verifiable, auditable, and aligned with regulatory and reporting requirements.

Reporting

The CorTenX platform provides a comprehensive and configurable reporting framework designed to meet the diverse needs of administrators, account holders, and public users. The system supports a range of predefined report types, including registry-level summaries, operational reports, and compliance-focused administrative outputs. Reports are fully searchable and filterable, allowing users to refine datasets by product, account, transaction type, or date range. Each report can be exported in multiple formats—such as CSV or JSON—to support integration with external systems or internal analysis tools. This flexible reporting capability ensures that all stakeholders have transparent, real-time access to relevant information, promoting oversight, auditability, and efficient decision-making across the registry ecosystem.

Additional Attributes and Unit Types

The CorTenX platform supports the dynamic addition of new attributes and unit types at runtime, eliminating the need for code changes or system redeployment. This capability allows administrators to extend data models and classification structures directly through the user interface, ensuring flexibility in responding to evolving program or regulatory requirements. Attributes can be defined, edited, and assigned to Products or Product Items to capture additional metadata—such as environmental indicators, certification details, or verification references—enhancing the informational depth of each record. New unit types can likewise be configured to represent distinct asset classes or measurement systems, maintaining consistency across diverse schemes. These extensible data structures empower registry operators to adapt quickly to new standards or reporting obligations while preserving data integrity, auditability, and interoperability across integrated systems.

Open Integration and No Vendor Lock-In

CorTenX is built on an API-first architecture that ensures full interoperability with external systems, eliminating vendor lock-in and promoting long-term flexibility for registry operators and partners. All core platform capabilities—ranging from user management and transactions to data exchange and reporting—are accessible through authenticated API endpoints, enabling seamless integration into existing operational ecosystems. The platform can connect directly with third-party marketplaces, KYC and AML providers, MRV systems, and meta-registry networks, allowing participants to tailor their workflows and compliance frameworks to specific program requirements. This open integration model empowers organizations to optimize registry functionality, automate cross-platform processes, and maintain control over their technology stack. By design, CorTenX provides partners with the freedom to innovate and extend their capabilities without dependency on proprietary infrastructure, ensuring adaptability, scalability, and future readiness across diverse registry implementations.

Continuous Platform Improvement

The CorTenX platform is developed under a continuous enhancement framework, ensuring that functionality, performance, and security evolve in line with user needs and industry advancements. Regular updates introduce new features, extend interoperability with emerging standards, and optimize system performance without disrupting existing operations. Enhancements are delivered through a structured release cycle, incorporating rigorous testing, user feedback, and backward compatibility safeguards. This approach ensures that new capabilities are deployed seamlessly across environments while maintaining full data integrity and regulatory compliance. By adopting an agile development methodology and an API-first architecture, CorTenX remains adaptable to evolving market, policy, and technical requirements—supporting long-term scalability and reliability for all registry operators and participants.

Customisable Security and Permission Structures

CorTenX incorporates a comprehensive, role-based permission framework that can be seamlessly aligned with each partner’s internal security architecture and compliance requirements. Access controls, approval hierarchies, and data visibility rules can be configured to mirror existing governance frameworks, ensuring that every action on the platform adheres to institutional standards and audit obligations. This granular permission model enables precise mapping of organizational roles—whether for government agencies, financial institutions, or verification bodies—providing full control over who can view, authorize, or execute specific functions. By embedding security and compliance into every operational layer, CorTenX delivers a trusted and resilient environment that meets the highest standards of data protection and regulatory integrity.
